| There is a reason there is a scale of 1-10. Everything fits on it. If you feel they are lower then you have skewed the scale too much in one direction. I suppose it would be similar to anyone who has like 10% of their anime at 10. You can rate how ever you like but wanting to go outside of the system is kind of dumb, it exists at least to some extent for a reason. May as well let AoT and FMAB super fans give 100. Of course then they would wonder why they can't give 1000. Also nothing is below 1 for me. I tend to rate higher because I pick anime suited to my tastes which in general are fairly broad to begin with. I would guess that anyone who has this mindset likely has a relatively low average score, or has ventured into genres of anime that are not suited to their watching tastes. No judgement but we are the cause of our own issues a lot of the time. |

| I...don't actually have anything rated below 2 ._. Not saying there aren't shows I know I'd absolutely hate, but that's the thing, I KNOW I'd hate them, so I won't watch them (Redo of Healer is one such example). And even then they usually tend to deserve at least SOME credit for decent animation, sound, being a good representation of their genre, etc., so giving them a 1 or less feels...unfair? |

| In my philosophy there is no such thing as a all terrible anime. The watcher perceives it as terrible if it fails to deliver the certain qualities that they like in anime. For example if the Strike the blood anime was so terrible it wouldn't have made enough bluray sales to allow three additional seasons(forth on the way) to be produced. |
