I'm nominating RFD for deletion. Redirects are cheap, and there should never be any need to remove them unless they point to a nonexistent page or are attacks, which is covered by speedy deletion. The result was Keep :  Delete  . (I deliberately sat this one out so I could say that.) Arguments on both sides were better. The next admin is hereby empowered to do what would normally be done in these cases, which I believe is to do nothing. Also the subject page will be promoted to an essay. Non-Jimbo close.
